About Us

Fox Country Quilts, LLC is a division of Fox Country Farm, a 26-acre farm located in northeast Texas owned by Donna and Chip. They have chickens, 3 dogs, and various critters who live with them on the farm.

Donna began her quilting journey as a small girl and has been quilting on and off for more than 30 years. She has been quilting for the public since 2014 and in 2018 became a certified technician for Handi Quilter. Donna is Johnny-on-the-spot at keeping up with new trends in quilting and is usually one of the first to teach classes in the Northeast Texas area in the latest quilting techniques.

Chip married a quilter and soon grew to love the art of quilting. His first quilt was for his mother, a small lap quilt and when he was sewing the seams together he stated, "It's like being a pilot in an aircraft!" Of course, Donna laughed and said "I don't think so". Chip, who still works at the university in Commerce, Texas, enjoys making quilts when time allows and became a certified technician for Handi Quilter in February 2019. Both Chip and Donna are certified sewing repair technicians.
