ED Event 4: Quilting with the Pro-Stitcher



This class of quilting applications is an extension of Introduction to the Pro-Stitcher and addresses specific functions and basic techniques a quilter will use on a regular basis to finish quilts with the HQ Pro-Stitcher. Tips and shortcuts for using features of the program are included.

TOPICS INCLUDE:
• What’s the difference between Reposition, Nudge and Drag and Drop?
• The many ways to describe an Area on your quilt
• Using Skew 1 vs Skew 2
• Set up, crop, wrap and advance edge-to-edge designs
• Quilt straight lines the easy way with Move and Channel Locks

If you already own the Pro-Stitcher, be sure to bring in your PS tablet or laptop with simulation loaded and you can follow along with the instructor.

Instructor: Donna Smith
Instructor Bio: Dr. Donna Smith has been quilting since she was a teenager and has enjoyed expanding her quilting skills and knowledge to encompass a wide variety of techniques. Whether it be hand sewn or machine quilting, she loves the craft. As a retired university faculty member, Dr. Smith combines her passions of teaching and quilting to create a fun and enjoyable experience for all who join her classes.
