3. Loading a bobbin into your sewing machine
4. Choosing and installing a presser foot
5. Threading your sewing machine
6. Setting the basic sewing stitches
7. Sewing a test seam to check for upper-thread tension
8. Sewing your first seam
9. Pivoting material while sewing seams
10. Chain stitching
11. Basic maintenance (keeping the bobbin area clean) and trouble-shooting (re-threading, changing needles, untangling bobbin thread, checking feed-dogs up or down, re-checking tension)
