Intermediate Pro-Stitcher Retreat
Are you interested in advancing your Pro-Stitcher skills? This is your chance to spend time with award-winning educator, Dr. Donna Smith, to master your machine, develop new skills, and build confidence to transform your quilting with Pro-Stitcher. Join us for a 3 days of classes at Pro-Stitcher Academy.
In the Intermediate Pro-Stitcher Retreat we move from Basic quilting with Pro-Stitcher to combining designs to creating new designs. This retreat is not for the beginning user. The participants must be knowledgeable in Pro-Stitcher and efficient in edge-to-edge and basic block to block quilting.
We dive into Pro-Stitcher Premium (aka Connect) to combine designs, sashings and borders to add unique elements to our quilts. We’ll learn multiple ways to quilt oversized blocks and use cropping to create fun quilts. An overview of Pro-Stitcher Designer (aka Software) and have some fun exploring the use of Designer with Premium..
May pay for an additional night to arrive the day before classes begin.
All kits, fabric, thread and supplies will be provided for the retreat.
- Taught hands-on on the latest version of Pro-Stitcher Premium (aka Connect) and Pro-Stitcher Designer (aka Software)
- Classes begin at 10:30 am and will end at 4:30 pm the first 2 days. On the last day class will end at noon.
- Grab what you want for breakfast, 3 lunches, 2 dinners and plenty of drinks and snacks.
- Each evening there will be opportunities to work on additional projects.

| Instructor Bio: | Dr. Donna Smith has been quilting since she was a teenager and has enjoyed expanding her quilting skills and knowledge to encompass a wide variety of techniques. Whether it be hand sewn or machine quilting, she loves the craft. As a retired university faculty member, Dr. Smith combines her passions of teaching and quilting to create a fun and enjoyable experience for all who join her classes. |
