Serger Basics
This class takes the fear out of working on a serger. We demystify the serger and explore the capabilities of this popular machine. In no time, this will be one of the most cherished tools in your sewing room.
In this class, you will learn how to thread your serger, adjust tensions, and how to set up for a three-thread and a four-thread overlock stitch. You will leave class with stitch samples and notes for tension settings. In addition, you will be able to put your skills to use to make a pillowcase using your serger.
Each Student will need to bring a serger and the owners manual. If your serger has not been used in several months, you should have it professionally serviced before class.
