Custom Quilted Sneakers (Deadline to sign up: November 1, 2024)

Ready for a VERY full day of fun and friendship while making a custom pair of sneakers? Come Join us! Be sure to bring a lunch and any snacks or drinks you will need for the day as it is a very full day of sneaker making.

Class fee includes the full day of class instruction and a pair of sneaker soles. See size chart below to order your correct size. Please call the shop with the shoe size you will need or place it in the notes section when checking out. Also choose a color - White or Black

Deadline to sign up for this class is November 1 as we need time for the shoe soles to come in.

This class does require some prep work. Please come with your quilt sandwich already quilted and your bias binding already made. Please see below for what is required.

Supplies Needed:

* Minimum of 1/3 yard of a quilted sandwich, which includes outer shoe fabric, Soft n Stable OR Bosal R Form in the middle, and inner shoe fabric. 

NOTE: If you plan to fussy cut your placement on the fabric or wear an EU size 41 or larger, bring a 1/2 yard quilted sandwich instead of a 1/3 yard.

* 2 yards of a precut and ironed bias binding, cut at 1.75" wide; folded in half,  wrong sides together.

* Stiletto

* Scissors - Paper and fabric

* Clips for sewing binding

* Fabric marking pen or pencil

* Fray Check

* Sewing machine in good working order to sew on binding (Classroom machine available to rent  for $10)

* Matching thread for bias binding

* Shoe laces - 45" for the lower and mid shoe or 60" for the high top shoe

* Thimble as needed to push needle

* Strong sewing pins
