Spellbound Quilted Witch Hat

Step into a little quilting magic this October! In this all-day class, you’ll learn how to make the Spellbound Quilted Witch Hat—a whimsical project that’s part costume, part home décor, and entirely fun.

You’ll start by quilting your fabric and learning tips for working with Pellon Flex Foam to keep your hat structured yet lightweight. From there, we’ll walk through piecing, assembly, and finishing techniques—including options for adding a patchwork top or festive trims.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a completed witch hat that’s approximately 16” tall with a 22–23” head circumference—perfect for wearing, displaying, or gifting. This project is beginner-friendly but also full of creative possibilities for more experienced sewists.

3/4 Yard Heavyweight Fusible Interfacing
2 Fat Quarters for Binding
1 Fat Quarter for Optional Sash
