Echoes of Iceland BOM Sit & Sew

Journey through Iceland one block at a time!

Join us each month for a guided Block of the Month class featuring Echoes of Iceland, designed by Gudrun Erla of GE Designs. Inspired by Gudrun’s Icelandic roots, this quilt combines bold design, storytelling, and skill-building techniques.

During this 10-month program, you’ll create a 74" x 82" quilt step by step, learning time-saving and precision techniques using Stripology® rulers along the way. Each class session includes:

Hands-on instruction for the month’s block(s)
Tips and tricks for using Stripology rulers with confidence
Guided support to keep you on track and motivated
Fun themed stories that connect each block to Iceland’s culture and landscapes

By the end of the program, you’ll have a breathtaking quilt and a whole new set of quilting skills! Whether you’re a confident beginner or an experienced quilter, you’ll love the combination of education, inspiration, and community this program offers.

Pattern/Book Required: Echoes of Iceland by GE Designs (coming soon to Fox Country Quilts)
