Pro-Stitcher 101 + 201: Stitch with Confidence - Foundations Through Edge-to-Edge Essentials | Apr 23-25, 2026 (3 Spots Available)

Three-Day Hands-On Retreat Go from wondering what every button does to confidently quilting your own edge-to-edge project. You have your shiny Pro-Stitcher screen glowing, coffee in hand, and that little voice whispering, “Now what?” Buttons everywhere. Menus galore. Tabs you did not even know existed. And one blinking cursor that looks suspiciously pleased with itself. Sound familiar? You are not alone. We have all stared at that tablet hoping it might magically quilt the project for us. Here is the good news: by the end of this retreat, you will not only understand your Pro-Stitcher screen, you will know how to use it with confidence. In this three-day, hands-on retreat, you will learn how to navigate the software, locate and load designs, prepare your quilt, and stitch an edge-to-edge project from beginning to end. You will practice each skill on a Pro-Stitcher-equipped longarm while learning alongside a community of quilters who are asking questions, celebrating progress, and cheering one another through every new discovery. You will not spend three days watching someone click through menus while your own tablet gathers dust. This is a quilting adventure filled with scavenger hunts, stitch challenges, guided practice, and real quilting. You will explore every corner of the Pro-Stitcher tablet by using the tools, solving problems, and seeing what happens at the machine. Understand the Pro-Stitcher tabs, toolbars, menus, and workspace so you always know where to find the tools you need. Locate, load, resize, rotate, and align quilting designs accurately. Define quilting areas and use grids to improve design placement, spacing, and alignment. Explore all three edge-to-edge pattern types and learn when and how to use each one. Prepare and load your project correctly, then create a dependable plumb line for accurate quilting. Learn our reliable process for advancing the quilt and aligning rows seamlessly. Recognize common problems, understand why they happen, and learn practical steps for correcting them. Put the entire process together as you quilt an edge-to-edge project from setup through the final row. Machines are provided, materials are prepared, and the retreat is designed around learning by doing. You will watch a technique, practice it yourself, ask questions, and repeat the process until the steps begin to feel natural. By the end of the retreat, you will leave with stronger muscle memory, practical experience, greater confidence, and a finished project that proves just how far you have come. Because this class feels like learning by doing, with plenty of laughter woven between the stitches. Every discovery is celebrated, every question is welcome, and every “aha!” moment moves you closer to quilting independently. Best of all, you will no longer fear the File tab. This retreat is designed for new and beginning Pro-Stitcher users, including quilters who own a system but have not yet felt confident using it independently. It is also an excellent choice for self-taught users who would like to fill in missing knowledge, improve their workflow, and build a stronger foundation. Skill Level: Beginner No previous Pro-Stitcher experience is required. Basic familiarity with operating a longarm quilting machine is helpful. Each retreat is tailored to the group. Projects, demonstrations, and focus areas may shift slightly to match student experience, learning goals, questions, and creative interests. The destination remains the same: confident, capable Pro-Stitcher quilters. Join us for three days of learning, stitching, laughter, and those glorious little moments when the screen finally makes sense. FOX COUNTRY QUILTS | PRO-STITCHER ACADEMYPro-Stitcher 101 + 201
