Pro-Stitcher 501 Thread Painting on Longarm | October 19 - 21, 2026

Turn thread into art. There’s a moment every Pro-Stitcher student eventually hits — when edge-to-edge quilting feels mastered and custom quilting feels routine — and you find yourself wondering: what’s next? This is what’s next. Thread painting on longarm is exactly what it sounds like: using your machine to stitch layered, colorful, breathtakingly detailed paintings in thread. And here’s the secret: you don’t have to be an artist. The designs are already digitized. You choose the design, prep the file, set up your machine, and stitch. The Pro-Stitcher handles the precision. You handle the creativity. You’ll complete the full thread painting workflow from start to finish — twice. Day 1: Design selection, supplies, and Designer Lite basics. Resize, prep, and get ready to stitch. Day 2: Stitch your first complete thread painting — color by color, layer by layer. Day 3: Troubleshooting, tension mastery, and your second project of your choosing. Students who have completed Pro-Stitcher 401 (or equivalent) and are comfortable with basic navigation and design manipulation. Continue into the Designer Series (D101 → D201 → D301) or advance into Pro-Stitcher 601 and Pro-Stitcher 701, where your work evolves into full artistic storytelling with thread. Spots are limited to ensure hands-on time at the machine.Thread Painting on Longarm
